The Echelon was founded in the great state of Alabama.  Like many of her neighbors, Alabama is home to a thriving multi-billion dollar economy centered on the Sports Entertainment Industries (S.E.I.). Remarkably and interestingly enough, these numbers are achieved without holding any major sporting franchises like her counterparts.

Many young scholars of all walks of life grow up being inundated with some type of impression or influence from the prevalent Sports Entertainment industry.  The hope for success and deliverance is through “making it big and going pro!” Yet, the numbers of that actually happening are dismal.

Just think, what if other opportunities and exposure to the 500 occupations and careers directly attached to the S.E.I. were presented??? The average career of a major sports athlete in America in 4.85 years; yet, the average career in sports entertainment support services is well over 20 years. The urgency of training and career sustainability for the scholars and graduates nationwide can be as easy as shifting this paradigm.

Through the vision of our board of trustees and national stakeholder network, The Echelon is committed to providing ground-breaking strategic models that foster the success of the young scholar at little to no cost. By using researched-based pedagogy, techniques, and innovations. We equip young scholars with life skills to be career and college-ready for a lifetime.
